DAWN connects American and Syrian high-school-aged women in a peer-to-peer mentoring program focused on leadership development and the college application process, creating intentional communities that allow all students to thrive. This three-year program simultaneously gives high-school aged girls valuable leadership experience while comprehensively preparing them to create and submit strong college applications to universities outside of Syria.

- Monthly Community Calls
- Monthly webinars
- Monthly one-on-one meetings with DAWNetwork leadership
- Bi-weekly small group meetings
- Bi-weekly office hours
- Weekly English tutoring (for year 1)
- Year 1: Community service project
- Year 2: Research project
- Year 3: College applications

Eligibility:
- Applicants must be currently in their sophomore year (second year) of high school when they apply
- Applicants must be willing to take a gap year following their bakaloria year, using that year to apply to universities abroad
- Applicants must identify as female
- Applicants must intend to pursue higher education abroad
- Applicants must be Syrian or Syrian Palestinian and must currently reside in Syria;
- Applicants must complete their application in English
- Applicants must have access to Zoom and at least semi-regular access to internet (strong enough to stream a recording)
- Applicants must be willing to commit a minimum of 4 hours a week
